An Au Pair is typically a young person from abroad employed by a family to care for their children and help with light housework in return for a monetary allowance, room and meals. Our Au Pairs are between the ages of 18 - 30 and mostly female. They are competent English speakers and have an average of 1300 hours documented childcare experience. Our Au Pairs go through a rigorous screening process – including police and medical record checks, references, interview, English and personality tests.

Products & specialties:

Au Pair 123 - Our core Early Childhood Education programme, approved by the New Zealand Ministry of Education, for families with at least 1 child under 5. An Au Pair 123 can work between 30 - 45 hours per week and the Placement Term is between 6 - 12 months.

Au Pair Mate - Our flexible after school care programme tailored for families with children over the age of 5. An Au Pair Mate can work between 20 - 45 hours per week and the Placement Term is between 6 - 12 months.

Au Pair Assist - Our short term mother's help programme for families with at least 1 child under 5. An Au Pair Assist can work between 20 - 45 horus per week and the Placement Term is for a maximum of 3 months.

Au Pair Whiz - Our professional, qualified Au Pair programme for all ages. An Au Pair Whiz has 2 years minimum childcare experience or a related degree. An Au Pair Whiz can work between 30 - 45 hours per week and the Placement Term is between 6 - 12 months.
