WEDNESDAY 15TH JULY 2015
An inspired and caring Auckland entrepreneur, Mrs Miriam Rutherford-van Gisbergen, is thrilled a safety product she designed and developed is soon to be sent to Prince William and Kate for their new royal baby Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
The gift will help ensure that the princess sleeps more restfully and safely.
The special safety product, known as a Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap is a unique, specific babywrap and has been used by hundreds of thousands of babies in many countries since 1992, significantly without a single reported fatality or injury since its invention!
With medical practitioners and organisations fully supporting it for nearly twenty three years, the wrap has certainly helped prevent unnecessary anxiety and trauma for parents and caregivers. The wrap helps prevent fatalities and falls from cots/cribs or beds
It was designed and developed by Kiwi Mrs Rutherford-van Gisbergen, when as a nurse she was most concerned about fatalities and babies being badly injured when falling from their cot or bed; then later learning of the risk of suffocation, positional asphyxia and 'flat head syndrome,' where young babies are at risk of misshapen, deformed heads. She says "the Sleepwrap helps prevent all this, saves lives, is cosy and comfy for baby and gives huge peace of mind to parents."
Princess Charlotte will have her own special Sleepwrap just like her brother Prince George did. This way the royal family will join the hundreds of thousands of parents worldwide who are grateful for a better night’s sleep and their peace of mind.
The special, New Zealand made Sleepwrap for Princess Charlotte has a royal crown on the logo in gold coloured thread with a silver fern embroidered below. The top quality, 100% organic cotton fabric is of a specific weave and has special gold thread stitching. It has been packaged with great care and love with many people helping to ensure it is very special. The outer box is gold with pink & gold ribbon and a handmade pink background Fleur de Lis Badge.
