About me.. I am mummy to my beautiful daughter Saylor and wife to my amazing hubby Jacob and am a passionate self-taught photographer.

My passion for taking photos started when my daughter was born. I found myself constantly behind the camera capturing the special moments that can’t be replaced and that will live forever in a photo. All of a sudden that little light bulb lit up – why am I not creating and capturing these irreplaceable moments and memories for others? That is when I decided to start up A.V.A Photography.

I have developed my own style of photography throughout this process and feel the most important thing about a photo is capturing raw, real emotion – focusing on our little ones giggles and natural moments are what bring the stills to life.
