Dr Katie Fourie

Dr Katie Fourie is a GP/IBCLC and Breast Physician in Waikato, New Zealand. She splits her time between a specialised tongue tie clinic and the Breast Care Centre under Te Whatu Ora Waikato, breastfeeding medicine private practice Nurtured: Mother Baby Clinic, and general practice. She is an active member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, having undertaken various committee roles as well as spent time on the board of directors representing doctors-in-training. She also volunteers as a La Leche League Leader for LLLNZ, providing support for whanau in the Waikato region and currently serving as the vice-chair on the LLLNZ Board. She is passionate about breastfeeding education and support for health professionals and parents and produces the Nurtured: Behind the Scenes Podcast.
